Everett Pence, age 52 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 6:30 AM. He was born in Hamilton on September 28, 1954 the son of Oliver and Bertha (Thompson) Pence. He was a 1973 graduate of Ross High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrison, Ohio, and was an avid bowler at Colerain, Northwest, Columbia, and Fairfield Lanes for various leagues. Everett was employed as an animal technician for Procter and Gamble for twenty-five years, retiring in 2007.
He is survived by two brothers, Earl Pence and Ernie (Susie) Pence, both of Hamilton; three sisters, Connie Pence, Brenda (Tim) Hale, and Rae Jean (Dennis) Jones, all of Hamilton; fourteen nieces and nephews, Tammie, Suzanne, Natalie, Michelle, Amber, Katie, Matt, David, Bryan, Danny, Stephen, Jesse, Steve, and Scott; and also ten great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Steve Pence; and one sister, Clara Pence.
Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ronnie Wolfe of the First Baptist Church of Harrison, Ohio officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati, American Cancer Society, or the First Baptist Church of Harrison, Ohio. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
