Ewell Lee Stone

Ewell Lee Stone, age 64 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, March 24. He was born in Hamilton on December 21, 1947, the son of Sherman and Ruby (Smart) Stone. Ewell worked at G and J Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. as a warehouse supervisor, retiring in October of 2011 after 41 years. On November 23, 1966 in Hamilton he married Connie Garrett. Ewell enjoyed working with his hands, especially with electronics and computers.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Stone; two sons, Steve (Jenny) Stone and Rob (Carey) Stone; one daughter, Tara Stone/Bailey; two sisters, Sue Stone and Martha Jo (Glenn) Stamper; 10 grandchildren, Demi, Dylan, Cody, Victoria, Bradley, Amelia, Logan, Skyler, Ysabel, and Max ; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Llyod Stone.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
