Fay Winkler

Fay Z. Winkler, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018. Fay was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 14, 1951 to Robert Zinsmeister and Margie Shearer Zinsmeister. Fay was a proud graduate of the Fairfield High School, class of 1969. After her duties as a "stay at home" were fulfilled, Fay attended and graduated from Miami University as an RN. She worked many years in healthcare, primarily serving as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Fort Hamilton Hospital and in various local nursing homes. Her personality, sense of humor, and love for the young and old as well as friends and family will be missed.

Fay is survived by her son, Andrew (Heather) Turner; grandchildren, Braden Turner, Kaylee Muncy, Lauren Turner and Lanie Muncy; sisters, Pam (Ray) Crutcher, Sue (Dave) Phipps; many cousins, especially Mike (Barb) Johnson, who she always felt was more like a brother; as well as multiple niece and nephews. Fay was preceded in death by her brother Kim; her parents, Robert and Margie Zinsmeister; and her loving husband, Wayne Winkler Sr.

Memorial visitation will be held on July 2, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Brown Dawson Flick, 330 Pershing Ave. Hamilton, OH. Celebration of Life service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, Box 459, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163.
