Faye N. Sanders

Faye N. Sanders, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. Faye was born in Ruth, Kentucky on January 15, 1933 to Edward Keeney and Eliza (Meece) Keeney. She enjoyed bird watching, spending time with her family and friends, and was known to many as “Momma Faye”. Faye was a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post 71 and the VFW 1069 in Fairfield. She was also a member of the Eagles 3680 in Fairfield. Faye will be missed, loved, and remembered by those who knew her.

Faye is survived by her children, Cella Trauthwein, Thomas Sanders, and Pam Sanders; two grandchildren, Kelly Trauthwein Liddy and Jesse Trauthwein; three great-grandchildren, Rachel Liddy, Emily and Abby Trauthwein; sisters, Joyce Phelps, Janet Meece and Janice Farmer; sisters-in-law, Minnie Keeney and Barbara Keeney; and numerous other relatives and friends. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 20 years, Jesse Sanders; children, Connie Sue Sanders-Bish and Danny Ray Keeney; siblings, Eva-Dale (Virgil) Bumgardener, Howard Keeney, Caroll (Sue) Keeney, Lyman Keeney, Vera Jean (JR) Watson, and Wanda (Kay) Keeney; and two brothers-in-law, Sarge Farmer and Clemon Meece.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In leu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Jamestown Rehab Facility, especially Tasha and Trisha, for tending to mom's needs. They would also like to thank the staff at Alternate Solutions, especially Kendra, Kevin, Jennifer, and Talia, for their home care during these last 5 years.
