Fern C. Dittman

Fern C. Dittman, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 PM. She was born in London, Kentucky on June 28, 1922 the daughter of James and Clara (Watkins) Wyatt. In 1943 in London, Kentucky she married Howard W. Dittman and he preceded her in death in 1972.

She is survived by her brother, Keith (Roxie) Wyatt of London, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Dennise Dittman, David Dittman, Doug Dittman, Candace Berryman, Daniel Dittman, and Theodore Dittman; three daughters-in-law, Judy, Nancy, and Donna Dittman; and her loving cocker spaniel, Sophie. Fern’s son Dennis Dittman passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 and she was preceded in death by by her parents and two other sons, Ronald and Donald Dittman.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lavelle Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Viaquest Hospice, her nurse, Renee Peterson, and dear friends, Herb and Adela Hoelle and Frank and Judy Foreman for all their care and support.
