Finley Hicks Jr.

Finley Hicks Jr. of Ona, West Virginia, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at the age of 90, Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A retiree of Champion International Papers and a WWII POW veteran. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wyvonne Hicks , of 70 years, and son Carlus Hicks, He was the son of Finley Hicks Sr. and Dora Combs Hicks. Sisters include, Ada Siegle and Leda Mae Archuleta and one brother; Douglas C Hicks. He is survived by two children, Roger Hicks of Moulton, Alabama, Joan Hicks Patton of Ona, WV, sisters; Geneva Holiday of Connersville, Ind., Vera McClory of Florida and Pauline Snowden of Chandler, Ariz. including several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 11AM-1PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio Funeral services to follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with Rev.
