Flora E. "Flo" Baldwin

Flora E. "Flo" Baldwin, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. She was born in Hamilton on November 19, 1945 the daughter of Scott and Maude (Brewer) Sandlin. Flo was a graduate of Garfield High School and was a charter member of Franklin Street Baptist Church. On March 15, 1984 in Hamilton she married John R. Baldwin.

She is survived by her husband, John R. Baldwin; two sons, John (Amy) Baldwin and Jeremy (Nikki) Baldwin; also survived by Valeria Baldwin; a sister-in-law, Barbara Sandlin; six grandchildren, John W. Baldwin, Stephanie Baldwin, Hayley Rice, Aleigha Rice, Justin Baldwin, and Lindsey Baldwin; and several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, L.A. Sandlin and Paul Sandlin.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Greg Mullins of Franklin Street Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton for their care and concern.
