Florence L. Brickles, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2017. Florence was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 25, 1934 to Charles Marcum and Maude Miller Marcum. Married Vernon "Slim" Brickles in 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio. Florence worked for Avon Manufacturing, retiring in 1986.
Florence is survived by her son, Art (Marie) Brickles; grandchildren, Aubrey, Cody, Kayla, Nathan and Nicholas; brothers, James "Jim" Marcum and Charles "Bug" Marcum. Florence was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Maude Marcum; husband, Vernon "Slim" Brickles; 8 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
