Florence Marie Gray

Florence Marie Gray, age 93 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 4:48 AM. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on December 14, 1914 the daughter of Raymond and Grace (Nunnery) McElravey. Florence enjoyed various hobbies including ceramics, china painting, gardening, and puzzles. On August 18, 1934 in Liberty, Indiana she married Charles "Bud" Gray, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Lee (Marvin) Mills, Carroll Sue (Charles) Sparks, and Debby Smith, all of Hamilton; three sisters, Anna Johnson, Elnora (Bud) Dudley, and Connie Duke, all of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren as well as two on the way; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Duard McElravey; and three sisters, Katherine Hershner, Olive Wagner, and Ruth Lewis.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
