Florence H. Minor

Florence H. Minor, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was born in Collinsville on September 17, 1923 to Thurman and Mabel Fisher. In 1946 in Covington, Kentucky she married Warren R. Minor. She worked for the Village of New Miami Water Department for over 20 years. She was an active member of the New Miami Church of Christ since 1962. Florence was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Chuck Cain Post, Mt. Healthy Christian Benevolence Association and The Over The Hill Gang.

She is survived by many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and eight brothers. We would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Hamilton and Dr. Jennifer Winters for the care they provided.

Funeral service will be held at New Miami Church of Christ, 104 Highland Avenue, on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11 AM with Minister John Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio.
