Florine Christina Hollister

Florine Christina Hollister, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away with family and close friends by her side on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Florine was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 14, 1938 to Chester and Florence (nee Vidourek) Clear. Florine graduated from Notre Dame High School. On June 30, 1956 she married Kenneth Hollister. Florine was a real estate broker, business owner and above all, a devoted mother and Grandma. She loved her family deeply and was a beautiful soul inside and out.

Florine is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mike) Weigand, Cynthia (the late John) Pfirrman, and Christina (Mike Brovey) Hollister; her grandchildren, Bradley Hogan, Matt (Kay) Hogan, Laura (Dominic) Ware, Kyle (Cassondra) Pfirrman, Kristin (Joe) Stewart, Alexander (Megan) Woodrey, Megan (Michael) Boehm and Morgan (Dan) House; her great-grandchildren, Layla, Liam, Lucas, Dallas, Harlan, Brayden, Maverick, Mia Jo, Parker, Peyton, James, Josie, John Thomas, Evelyn, Mary, Ashten, Greyson and Luke; her sister, Dorthea “Dottie” Miller; and her nieces and nephews. Florine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Hollister; and her brother, Robert Hopkins II.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM with celebrant Fr. Richard Walling. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
