Flossie "Sally" Carpenter

Flossie "Sally" Carpenter, age 72 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was born January 16, 1940, in LaFollette, Tennessee the daughter of Noah and Mary Jane (Murry) Shoun. Flossie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by children, Brenda (John Tye) Byrd, Martha (Tom) Roche, Eddie (Darlene) Carpenter, Alvin (Renee) Carpenter, Mary (Bo) Wyatt, and Milton (Monika) Carpenter; grandchildren, Mike (Tina) Byrd, Crystal (Jason) Schneider, Ken (Crissy) Carpenter, Roy (Sara) Carpenter, Danielle (Brandon) Busam, Joey Byrd, Brandon Carpenter, Johnathon Carpenter, Alexandria Carpenter, Aaron Wyatt, Cody Wyatt, Ryan Carpenter, Kelsey Carpenter, Carli Carpenter, and Danny Tye; great-grandchildren, Brent, Trevor, Jonathan and Austin Byrd, J.D. and Bella Schneider, Lily and Livia Carpenter and Liam Carpenter; and brother, Nolan Shoun. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carpenter Sr.; parents; and son, Charles Maxwell.

Visitation will be held 5-8pm, Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. Funeral service will be 11am, Saturday, March 24, 2012, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
