Fran Rigling (Wilde), age 90, passed away on Friday April 24, 2015 at Heartland on Woodridge. She was born Marry Frances on August 4, 1924 in Akron, OH to Harry Richard Wymer and Alta Mae (Kirk) Wymer. She wed Arnold L. Rigling on June 15, 1949 in Akron, enjoying 43 years of marriage. She moved to Hamilton and worked in the family business, Rigling Meat Market, a White Villa store in Hamilton’s 2nd Ward. She was the organist at St. Stephen Church for many years. She loved to square dance and play bridge with Arnie and others most of her life. In her TX retirement she continued playing organ and piano for several churches, took up bicycling, water aquatics, and sewing. Her passion was music and she sang in a regional winning barbershop quartet. She told stories and jokes but also sewed and tailored most of the group’s outfits. After returning to Hamilton in 2007 she played piano at Waterford and Heartland, took up Wii Bowling, and made the Hamilton Journal by outsmarting some 5th graders in a contest. Fran is survived by her children Karen (Richard) Mienheartt, Mary Kathy (Bill) Stubblefield, grandchildren Andrew and Joshua Rothweiler, and grandchild Michael Rothweiler. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Wymer, sister Helen M. Nees, Arnold in 1992, and 2nd spouse N. Jay Wilde. Private Burial will take place at the family’s convenience.
