Frances A. Cook

Frances A. Cook, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. Frances was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 9, 1939 to Fred Willoughby and Grace (Barger) Robinson. She enjoyed shopping, bingo, sewing, crocheting, and crafting for her family and friends. Frances loved watching Naked and Afraid, Survivor, and her soap operas, or “stories” as she would call it. She adored her cat Bubba who was her constant companion over the years. Frances’ goal in life was to be a wife, mother, and a homemaker.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Mark) Henson and Rowena Cook; her grandchildren whom she adored, Ryan (Kimalee) Henson, Sean (Bri) Henson, Laura Henson, Anna (Johnny Hockersmith) Hurst, and Rylee Lovins; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Avery, Naomi, and two great-grandchildren on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Albert Lee Cook; son, Rodney Bowlin and Randall L. Cook; great-grandson, Carson Street; and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
