Frances R. Guldner

Frances R. Guldner, age 73 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 9:50 AM. She was born in Hamilton on January 29, 1934 the daughter of Anthony George and Cecilia (Hingsbergen) Schnapp. Frances was employed at Frisch’s for 34 years, and was a former employee of Citizens Federal Bank and Ohio Casualty Insurance. On February 7, 1959 in Hamilton she was married to Louis W. Guldner, and he preceded her in death in 1977.

She is survived by two daughters, Josephine Templin of Cincinnati and Virginia Harrison of Hamilton; two brothers, Vincent Schnapp of Middletown and Anthony P. (Maxine) Schnapp of Mishawaka, Indiana; two sisters, Cecilia Schnapp of Bay City, Michigan and Philberta (Ronald) Kirk of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Michelle, Timothy, Karen, Christina and Gwyndolyn; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward and Cyril Schnapp; and a sister, Angela Menke.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the American Cancer Society.
