Frances L. Hall

February 18, 1923 — August 13, 2011

Frances L. Hall, age 88 of Hamilton passed away at her daughter’s residence on Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was born in Hamilton on February 18, 1923 the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Bieker) Brandner. Frances was a 1941 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On April 5, 1951 in Hamilton she married Howard "Ed" Hall and he preceded her in death in 2007. Frances was an active member of Queen of Peace Church, Altar Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, and was active with many volunteer organizations.

She is survived by four daughters, Pam (Randy) Pewitt, Janet Henz, Marcia (Dan) Erdman, and Anita (Tony) Pitcher; six grandchildren, Lisa (Joe) Smith, Ronny (Jennifer) Pewitt, Laura Erdman, Emily (John) Enderle, Tricia Pewitt, and Katie (Ryan) Maichrye; seven great-grandchildren, Gracie, Luke, Caleb, Riley, Carly, Brady, and Emma; and two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Brandner and Dorothy Hartleb. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Brandner; and sister, Sr. Frances Paula Brandner SND.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Queen of Peace Church, Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, or Hospice of Cincinnati.
