Frank Garvin

Frank Garvin, age 73 of Fairfield, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Centeron Wednesday, March 23, 2016.He was born in Hamilton on February 25, 1943 to John and Laura (Mchone) Garvin. Frank was employed at Southwestern Ohio Steel Company for 17 years. He became an ordained minister in 1967 and is also a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deanna Garvin, his children, Rebecca (Scott) McDaniel, Bobby Garvin, and Frank (Tamela) Garvin, his grandchildren, Sarah (Adam) Salisbury, Olivia, Rebecca, Haley, Ally, and Bobby Jr. Garvin, his great grandchildren, Lorelei and Hazel Garvin, and Autumn Salisbury, his sister, Edith Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hawthorn Glen and Heart’s and Hand’s Hospice.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6PM with Rev. Barry Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
