Frankie D. Spiers, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 11:50 AM. He was born in Hamilton on May 26, 1942 the son of James and Ollie Ann (Guthrie) Spiers. He was employed as a machine operator for National Can Company. On November 18, 1996 he married Sue Heatherly.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Spiers of Hamilton; three children, Amelia (Branden) Uttrick of Hamilton, Lisa Readnower of Kettering, and David Powell of Fairfield; two brothers, Burl Spiers of Hamilton and Bert Spiers of Fairfield; two sisters, Shirley Cooper of Fairfield and Barbara Pennington of Hamilton; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry, Richard, and Roy Spiers; and one sister, Marie Ash.
Graveside funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, June 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
