Fred R. Hugenberg

Fred R. Hugenberg, beloved husband of the late Elisabeth (First), dear father of F. Robert of Blue Ash, Dr. James E. of Bonita Springs, Florida, Barbara L. Byrd of Hamilton and Martha S. (John N.) Frey of Cincinnati, and loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren, Anne, Betsy, Kathy, Margie, Bobbie, Todd, Keith, Adam, Linda, Scott, Lisa, Mark, David, Dirk and 23 great-grandchildren.

Born May 7, 1909 and peacefully passed away on June 21, 2010 at the age of 101. Fondly remembered by the extended Hugenberg family, caring friends and neighbors. Thanks to the Westover Health Care staff and Vitas Hospice for their special care for the last several years.

Visitation at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 111 High Street, Oxford at 9:30 AM Saturday, June 26, 2010. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In celebration of Fred’s life and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wellness Community, 4918 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, American Diabetes Association, 644 Linn Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oxford, Ohio 45056 or to a charity of your choice.
