Fred L. Renner, age 77 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Mercy Hospital. He was born March 2, 1930 in Rockcastle, Kentucky, the son of the late George and Dora Annie (Cromer) Renner.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Ollie (Johnson) Renner. They were happily married for almost 58 years. He also had two surviving sisters, Willie Ester Hensley of Mason and Irene Ball of Brookville, Indiana as well as many nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Fred was a devoted and loving husband, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend to many. He truly enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He will be sadly missed. Fred was a member of the Timberhill Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He retired from Mosler Safe Company, where he worked for 20 years. Fred was preceded in death by three brothers, George Jr., Wilbert, and Monroe; and two sisters, Alice Bradley and Marie Robbins.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Miller of Timberhill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Dr. Krall, Hospice of Cincinnati, Tri-County Extended Care, and all the staff at Mercy Fairfield, especially the 3rd Floor Unit B and emergency room for all their love, prayers and compassion.
