Frederick Ritzie

Frederick P. Ritzie, age 75 of Lindenwald, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Fred was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 2, 1950 to Frederick J. Ritzie and Virginia (Rollins) Ritzie. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Nothing could stop Fred, and he put his heart into everything he did. Fred coached Little League Football for over 35 years, and eventually he was able to coach all three of his grandsons. His grandchildren have looked up to him their entire lives, and Fred loved spending time with them.

Fred is survived by his wife of 48 years, Merry Ritzie; daughters, Carrie (Jason Gambrell) Ritzie and Jessica Ritzie; grandchildren, Devon, Christian, Isaac, Levi, Kylee, Aubree and Chloe; sisters, Theresa (Norm) Reid and Vanessa Ritzie; and numerous other relatives and friends. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Virginia Ritzie; brother, John Ritzie; and sister, Geraldine Ritzie.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
