Frederick C. Schilling

Frederick C. Schilling, age 94 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was born in St. Bernard, Ohio on June 27, 1925 to Frederick J. and Ellie (Hilliard) Schilling. He was a veteran of World War II with the United States Marines and a veteran of the Korean War with the United States Air Force. On June 7, 1952 he married Irene Mays. Fred was employed as an engineer assistant at General Electric for thirty years. He was a life member of the DAV Chapter 15 and served on their Honor Guard team for numerous years.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Schilling; two children, Debbie (Tom) Allen and Frederick Jesse (Mary Ann) Schilling; three grandchildren, Lauren (Dan) Parks, Trevor Allen, and Mei Lynn Schilling; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Carol, Eleanor, Ruth, Elmer, and Richard.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Dan Clemens officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
