Gabriel Nicole Faye Church

Gabriel Nicole Faye Church, two and one half month old daughter of John W. and Holly M. (Mullen) Church of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Friday, September 21, 2007 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. She was born in Hamilton on July 10, 2007.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Samuel Church, and a sister Kelli-Sue Church both at home; grandparents, Karen and David Downie of Fairfield, Sharron and Darrell Taylor of Hamilton, and Robert and Lori Church of Springhill, Florida; great-grandparents, Mazlene Hicks of Hamilton, Betty Mullen of Hamilton, Pauline Church of Lexington, Kentucky, and Eunice Taylor of Hamilton; aunts and uncles, Crystal (Luis) Torres, Robert (Robin) Church, Tommy (Sylvia) Taylor, Linsey (Wedo) Taylor, Kyle Downie, Heather Downie, Heather (Ben) Chambers, Christopher Mullen, Matt Ellis, Steven Ellis, Crystal (Ryan) Lugers, Willie (Jamie) Taylor, and Darrell Jr. (Brandy) Taylor all of Hamilton; special great aunts and uncles, Kathy (Roger) Becker, Glenda (Mike) Hicks, Susie (Benny) Little, and Christopher (Cindy) Church; special friends, Amanda Church, Christopher Hamrick, Charon Church, and Roy Robbins; and many other close friends and family. She was preceded in death by, great-grandfathers, Samuel Hicks, Robert Mullen, Robert "Popeye"Church, and Donald Myers; great-grandmother, Marlene Myers; great aunt, Shawna Felix; great uncles, Steven Ellis and Lee Roy Church; three cousins Michelle Hicks, Michael Hicks Jr., and Bruce Beaman; great-great-grandparents, Ollie and Wesley Jordon, Violet and Jerry Sullivan, and Rowena and Clifford Downie.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Gentry of Summit View Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SIDS. Gabriel’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to neighbor Rachel for being there.
