Gail (Herrick) Abaecherli

Gail Herrick Abaecherli, age 77, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.  Gail was born on July 24, 1944 to Ruth Herrick Abaecherli and Carl Edward Abaecherli.  Gail graduated Cum Laude from high school in Lebanon, Ohio in 1962 and was in the National Honor Society.  She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  Gail had a deep and abiding faith in God which helped her through a lifetime illness.  She loved doing nice things for other people and she was loved by many in return.

Gail is survived by her sister Carol French Abaecherli Garey, brother-in-law James Garey, nieces Ellen Garey and Susan Garey Haken, nephew-in-law Dwayne Haken, grandnieces Emma Haken and Chloe Haken and her cousin and best friend Deborah Mulford.  Gail was preceded in death by her father Carl Abaecherli, her mother Ruth Abaecherli, her sister Margaret Abaecherli and her grandnephew Michael Garey.

Family and friends want to thank, with deep gratitude, all the people who cared for Gail over many years at the Butler County Care Facility: Cathy Beard, Social Worker & friend, and nurses Jennifer Hensley, Marie O’Nan, Sherri Seagers, Rhonda Mattie, Amy Kidd, and Peggy, as well as many others. Also, grateful thanks to Lisa Frye, Tierrah Mayfield and Tyriq Roberts from LifeSpan.

Graveside services will take place at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery.
