Gail A. Coleman

Gail Aline Coleman, age 91 of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Gail was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 9, 1935 to Ivan and Alice (nee Nistler) Armstrong. She graduated from Hamilton High School class of 1954. In March of 1955, she married Charles Coleman. Together they raised their two children, Tracy and Charles. Gail retired from Ohio State Highway Patrol in 1999, after 29 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Millville Avenue Church of God.

Gail is survived by her children, Tracy Riethmaier and Charles Coleman; her grandsons, Tony (Tasha) Riethmaier and Nicholas Riethmaier; her beloved dog, Nala; her best friend, Pearl Allen; and her brother, Lee (Lywana) Armstrong. Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jackie Mackey; her brothers, Bud and Joe Armstrong.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Pastor Brian Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Millville Avenue Church of God or Boys Town.
