Gail Lee Moore

Gail Lee Moore, age 81 of New Miami, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 8:46 PM. She was born in Hamilton on December 15, 1934 to Joseph and Mildred (Wysong) Moore, Sr. Gail was employed at WMOH radio station for fifty five years, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed her life spending time with family and always putting others before herself, if there ever was an angel on earth she was one. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed watching college basketball.

She is survived by two brothers, Darrel S. (Karen) Moore, Sr. of Trenton and Clark R. (Connie) Moore, Sr. of New Miami; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Moore of New Miami, with whom she resided, and Lorene Moore of Hamilton; nieces and nephews, Melinda (Frank) Petrek, David Moore, Darrel S. (Tracy) Moore Jr., Steven D. (Vicki) Moore, Clark R. "Bobby" (Paula) Moore, Jeffrey S. Moore, Cheryl New, Marla (David) Mangus, Jennifer (Jon) Brandenburg, and Keith (Bobbie) Moore; numerous great and great great nieces and nephews; best friend; Annaliese (Mel) Less; special friend and caregiver, Sharon Moore; and her WMOH family. She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Mark W. Moore, Keith M. Moore, Joseph D. Moore, Jr., and Beverly D. Moore; and sister-in-law, Ruth Moore.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
