Gary David "Bo" Burns, age 54 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was born in Hamilton on February 18, 1955 the son of Mabel and David Burns. His passions were his faith, family, NASCAR, and Corvettes.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Charlynn "Lynn" Burns; his daughter, Linda (Jason) Martin; four grandchildren, Josh, David, C.J. and Chloe; two brothers, Dennis and Jim (Gail) Burns; a sister, Diana Mason; several nieces and nephews; and his best and dearest friends, Glen and Linda Cozzi.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
