Gary "Phil" Chandler

Gary "Phil" Chandler, age 55 of Trenton went to sleep in Jesus on Saturday, July 31, 2010. He was born in Hamilton on January 31, 1955 the son of Denzil and Betty I. (Norton) Chandler. Phil was employed by the Laborer’s Union Local 534 and was a member of "The Lords Church".

He is survived by three children, Sgt. Gary Phillip (Sarah) Chandler II of New York, Matthew Curtis Chandler, and Stacy Lynn Chandler, both of Hamilton; his father, Denzil Chandler of Trenton; two brothers, Steve (Christie) Chandler of Ross and Greg (Donna) Chandler of Florida; three sisters, Sheila (Wayne) Maxwell of Oxford, Robin Bourquein of Florence, KY, and Kimberly R. (Dennis) Weeks of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Christopher Ryan and Cameron Robert Spahn; a loving aunt, Orlean; numerous nieces and nephews; and many brothers and sisters in the Lord. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty I. Chandler.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bryan Price of First Church of Jesus Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Phil would tell us all to love Jesus and show love one to another.
