Gary Leinig

Gary Leinig, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away with his wife at his side on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Gary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 23, 1948 to Alfred and Hilda Leinig. He graduated from Greenhills High School. Gary served in the United States Army. On September 8, 1984, he married the love of his life, Valerie “Kay” Leinig. His faith was a big part of his life, he enjoyed reading his bible and watching Billy Graham.

Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Valerie “Kay” Leinig; his step-son, Ronnie Fields; his in-laws, Pam (Michael) Pierre and Tim Barrett; and his nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his step-daughter, Barbara Ann Cunningham; his in-law, Mary Garrett, Larry Barrett and Johnny Barrett; and a nephew, Kevin Barrett.

Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 2PM with full military honors.
