Gary Maupin

Gary Maupin, age 72 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord at Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on June 15, 1943 to Leonard and Virgie (Thompson) Maupin.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Patty Maupin, his loving daughters, Tonja (Tom) Curry and Kelly (Jim) Ring, his cherished grandchildren, Zak and Cody Curry, Colton and Sydney Ring, his sister, Carol (Arnie) Marcum, his brother, Glenn Maupin, sister-in-law, Phyllis (Dave) Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Lorraine Robinson.

Gary was a 1961 graduate of Fairfield High School. He retired from UPS in 1998 after 30 years. He was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God where he was a dedicated Usher. Gary loved his church family and was a friend to all he knew.

Funeral service will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11AM with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5-8PM at the church.
