Gary Lee Moore

Gary Lee Moore, age 62 of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was born in Hamilton on January 11, 1954 to Russell and Pauline (Johnson) Moore. Gary attended Hamilton City Schools and graduated from Garfield Senior High School in 1972. He worked as a cabinet maker in Ohio and Florida until his retirement. Gary was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God.

Gary was a gentle soul who touched the lives of many. He was much loved by those who fondly referred to him as "Uncle Gary." He enjoyed watching wrestling with the guys, playing music and working in the yard. Gary's greatest joy was being a dad and helping others.

He is survived by his sister, Paula (Ronny) Bryant; children, Tonya Neeley, Natosha (Russell) Lundgren, Brian Jordan, and Ryan Jordan; grandchildren, Linda Cheek, Mayson Cheek, Cierra Lundgren, Zachary Lundgren, Trevor Lundgren, Alexis Lundgren, Christian Lundgren, and Abigail Lundgren; his nephews, Dusty (Alyson) Bryant, Troy (Danielle Jones) Bryant, and Jesse (Silvia) Bryant; and great nieces and nephews, Jesse Jaden Bryant, Ana Paula Bryant, Mario Palma, Lea Gutierrez, Heneka Gutierrez. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Angelisha Cheek; parents, Russell and Pauline Moore; a brother, Richard Michael Moore; and a former wife, Sandy Moore.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
