Gary R. "Red" Spears, age 58 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, March 16, 2018. Gary was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 5, 1959 to Raymond Howard Spears and Margy (Hayes) Spears.
Gary is survived by Sharron K. "Babe"; step children, Dwayne (Robin) Church, Crystal Torres, John (Ashley) Church; siblings, Raymond (Violet) Spears, Sissy (Joe) Snyder, Charles Spears Sr., Mike Spears, Holly Spears, David Ray Spears; his mother in law, Mazlene Hicks; and uncle Joe Wallace; and 13 grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Larry Wayne Spears, Thomas Spears, Shane David Spears, Karen Wallace, James R. Spears; and Aunt Barbara Wallace.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Arvil Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
