Gary D. Trudel

Gary D. Trudel, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was born in Pembina, North Dakota on October 16, 1940 the son of Francis and Tyyne (Kirppu) Trudel. On April 26, 1964, He married Donna M. Maybury and she preceded him in death in 2023. Gary was employed as an engineer at Champion International for numerous years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Gary is survived by his three sons, Jarett (Stephanie) Trudel, Jason (Esta) Trudel and Brett (Audrey) Trudel; his grandchildren, Nicole, Trent, Lila, and Sawyer; one great grandson, Liam; three siblings, Burke, Jean, and Pat Trudel; and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr. Nam Vu, Celebrant. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 1125 William L.
