Gary S. Young

Gary S. Young, age 67 of Walton, KY passed away at his residence on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:55PM. He was born in Hamilton, OH on November 3, 1947 to Steve and Dorothy (Smith) Young. Gary was employed at Hamilton City Bus Company for 20 years. He was a special deputy under Richard Holzberger, and a member of the FOP Lodge #19.

He is survived by three daughters; Stephanie (Rodney) Smith, Sharon Skaggs,and Karen Hasenpflug; six grandsons; three granddaughters; and one great-grandson; two sisters, Mary Young Carson, and Marcia (Rance) Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Young and Dorothy and Marcus Fugate; two brothers; one sister; and one nephew.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the FOP Lodge #19.
