Gayl A. Callahan

Gayl A. Callahan, age 76 of Oxford, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving and devoted grandchildren, Tracy and Michael Alcorn and Virgina and Kyna. She was born in Cincinnati on September 10, 1938 to Thomas and Virginia (Weisgerber) Packer. On September 8, 1965 in Hamilton she married the love of her life, Darrell Callahan.

She is survived by her children Terri, Tony (Carol), David, and Kym; grandchildren Tracy (Michael), Krys (Bill), Yvonne, Jeni, Dean, Thomas, Jamie, Froso, Virginia, Kyna (Michael), Darrell, Abby, Michael and Andrew; great grandchildren Ciara, Wayne, Michael Jr., Bradyn, Evan, Leah, Patrick, Bruce and Max; her devoted brother Joe (Debi) and special brother in law Dean (Jackie); and numerous nieces , nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darrell, granddaughter Dara, brothers Thomas and James and daughter in law Margo. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Dobi.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 10-12 Noon at the funeral home.
