Gene Ragan

Gene Edward Ragan, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016. Gene was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 16, 1939 to Crabill and Negil (Bryant) Ragan. Gene was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church. He retired from the Fairfield Township Police Department in 2005 and also worked for and retired from the Hamilton City Water Plant. Gene served in the US Navy from 1961-1965.

Gene is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlotte Ragan; his children, Vicky (Jeffery) Carter, James (Kathy) Asher, and Nathan (Carrie) Ragan; his grandchildren, Rebecca, James, Michelle, Amanda, Jarrod, Kyle, Savanah, twins, Paige and Ella, and five great grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Pauline) Ragan; and his sister, June (Bill) Lewis. Gene was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, 45013. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home, on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
