Gene M. Weber

Gene M. Weber, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Liberty Nursing Center of Oxford on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 3:30 AM. He was born in Hamilton on April 21, 1923 the son of Charles and Delma (Murdock) Weber. Gene was employed by Modern Plumbing for more than 20 years. On September 9, 1944 in Hamilton he married Jean C. Manning and she preceded him in death in 1996. He is survived by three children, Ron (Linda) Weber of Hamilton, Dan (Betty) Weber of Somerville, and Cheryl (Dave) Ferris of Hamilton; four brothers, Ralph (Millie) Weber of Eaton, Wayne (Helen) Weber of Hamilton, Floyd Weber of Hamilton, and Glen (Tressa) Weber of Peachtree, Georgia; one sister, Lucille (Ray) Hisey of Riverview, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl Weber. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
