Geneva Smith

Geneva Smith, age 67 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Sunday, September 19, 2010. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on August 20, 1943 the daughter of Foister and Eva (Swafford) Smith. On July 9, 1960 in Manchester, Kentucky she married Henry L. Smith. Geneva was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who spent her life honoring her parents and family with complete devotion, dedication and unselfish love. We feel honored to have been blessed with her in our life, even though our time was short. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Henry L. Smith; a son, Randall (Jennifer) Smith; a daughter, Lisa (Brian) Drew; a sister, Jeanette (Clarence) Sizemore; and four grandchildren, Aaron, Caitlin, Cody and Presley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Marcum of Fellowship Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
