Geoffrey P. Shearburn

Geoffrey P. Shearburn, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Geoff was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 27, 1951. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Geoff had a great sense of humor, enjoyed listening to Red’s games on the radio with Marty and Joe, and vacationing in St. Augustine, FL.

Geoff is survived by his best friend and wife of 51 years, Susan Shearburn; daughters, Kristine (Phil) Metzger and Jennifer (Steve) Metzger; grandsons, Matthew and Joshua; brothers-in-law, John (Barb) and Robert Dorger; siblings, Brett Schwab and Day Armelli; and dear friends, Jim Sauter and Tim Skidmore. Geoff was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Scales; special sister-in-law, Barbara Hammond; brother, Jim Oswald; and sister, Nina Edwards.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurse Jennifer Hyland and Dr. Christine Bailey from the UC ICU Survivorship Group for their care and compassion during this past year.
