George Clark Barnes, age 66 of Somerville passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 8:50 PM. He was born in Dayton on April 12, 1943 the son of George C. Sr. and Mildred (Morris) Barnes.
He is survived by his brother, Daniel (Karen) Barnes; nephew, Brian Barnes; niece, Sara Barnes all of Chicago; numerous devoted friends from Woodland Country Manor; and a son, George Clark Barnes III. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, today at 2:30 PM. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Monday in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
