George Dennis Carberry

George Dennis Carberry, age 64 of New Miami passed away at Mercy Hospital Clermont on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 6:15 AM. He was born in Hamilton on March 18, 1947 the son of William and Ruby (Gross) Carberry. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era from 1964 to 1967. He was employed as a machine operator for various factories. On March 18, 2002 in Hamilton he married Mary Hensley.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Carberry; a son, Dennis (Sherry) Carberry; five brothers, Robert, David (Carol), Kenny (Donna), Paul (Carol), and Tony (Kim) Carberry; four sisters, Joyce Allen, Sue Philpot, Nancy Mitchum, and Lois (Ron) Hodges; and a granddaughter, Haley Rose Carberry. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Carberry.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
