George Jeffry Schultz Sr.

George Jeffry Schultz Sr., age 56 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:32 AM. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 17, 1953 the son of Thomas Max and Bertha (Kraiser) Schultz. George was a United States Marine Corp. veteran. On October 17, 1974 in Onslow County, North Carolina he married Barbara Frazier. He is survived by his wife Barbara Schultz of Hamilton; two sons, George Jeffry (Dorothy) Schultz Jr. of Hamilton, and Thomas Oliver Schultz of Indianapolis, Indiana; a daughter, Cristie Schultz of Hamilton; seven grandchildren whom he loved dearly, CJ, Matt, Jake, Do, Shelby, AJ, and Bryer; four brothers, Thomas Michael (Lela) Schultz of Greenwood, Indiana, Kenneth Richard Schultz of Indianapolis, Indiana, Harry Eugene Schultz of Whiteland, Indiana, and Timothy Allen (Kim) Schultz of Burkesville, Kentucky; four sisters, Bertha Spratt of St. Pete, Florida, Henrietta Marie (Mr. Mosley) Mosley of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rebecca Schultz of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mary Lavonne (Phillip) Littrell of Franklin, Indiana and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David Robert Schultz and James Joseph Schultz; and a nephew, Noah "Joe" Schultz.

Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ross Lovins of the Monroe House of Prayer officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. George is loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
