George Tenbusch Jr.

George H. Tenbusch Jr., age 85 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on August 14, 1928 to George and Edna (Bradley) Tenbusch Sr. George retired as an engineer from CSX Railroad after 50 years of service. He was an avid Reds, Bengals, and Notre Dame fan. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Cassetta Tenbusch; daughters, Pamela (John) Tucker, Constance Scheid, Kristine (Francis) Parrish, Janie (James) Kleinfelder, Teresa Bowling, and Amy McKaig; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Eloise Tenbusch; son-in-law, Jonathan Bowling; grandson, Adam Bowling; and brother, Harold Woolwine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Ken Schroeder, celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
