George "Bud" Wilkerson

George “Bud” Wilkerson, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, December 20, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 9, 1940 the son of George and Mary (Croucher) Wilkerson. Bud was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged in 1959. He was employed as a crane operator for General Motors for more than thirty years. Bud was a member of Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church and the Masonic Lodge in Sharonville. On June 15, 1960, in Hamilton he married Dianna Depew, and she preceded him in death in 2017.

Bud is survived by four children, Vernon (Debbie) Wilkerson, Mona Jenks, Gary Wilkerson, and Melissa (Todd) Carter; two sisters, Judith Wilkerson and Kathy Higgins; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl Ray Wilkerson.

Funeral service will be held at Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church, 1321 Pater Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Denny Matheny officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
