Gerald K Glidewell Jr

Gerald K Glidewell Jr., age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on December 10, 1937 to Gerald and Cecelia (Raisch) Glidewell Sr. On December 26, 1958 in Morning Sun, OH he married Pat Poling, and they were married for 54 years. He graduated from Oxford McGuffey High School class of 1955, and was a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Cincinnati class of 1973 night school. Gerald retired from Mosler Safe Company as Operations Manager after 33 years of service, and spent 5 years as Manager of Richmond Hardware. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants Cincinnati Chapter, Mosler Management Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Monkey Mutual Aid Society.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Glidewell; a son, Kevin (Debby) Glidewell; a daughter, Tracy Lynn Boraz; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn (Anthony) Weisenberger, and Julia Kate Glidewell; and great-grandchildren, Aidan Michael LaGory, Collin Thomas LaGory, and Gavin Ryan Sizemore; two sisters, Carole VanOsdol of Troy, OH, and Mary Gayle Lawrence of Oakland, CA. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Kenton "Mr. K" Glidewell III; and his parents.

A Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Friday June 28, 2013 at the funeral home. Cremation was held.
