Gerald "Jerry" L. Johnson

Jerry L Johnson, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on April 2, 1940 to William and Captolia (Jackson) Johnson. He was a salesman at Nationwide Papers, Champion for almost 20 years. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1958 where he excelled in various sports. He attended Xavier University on a football scholarship.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Johnson; mother, Captolia Burk; children, Jeff (Terri) Johnson and Kathy Parker; grandchildren, Matt, Amanda, Jamie, Madison, Nia and Kara; sister, Janet Gadd; special aunts, Alma Croucher and Maxine Sandlin; loyal dear friend, Al Woedl; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and niece.

Family will be receiving family and friends from 5pm, until time of memorial service (7pm), Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton with Pastor Diane Mullins officiating.
