Geraldine Harrison

Geraldine "Geri" Harrison, age 69, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 4, 2011. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 25, 1942 the daughter of Lloyd Daniel and Olive (McGee) Smith. Geri was employed as a waitress and nurse’s aide for many years. In 1959 she married Junior Stivers and he preceded her in death in 1962; in 1964 she married Dallas "Vee" Harrison Sr., and he preceded her in death in 2002.

She is survived by Kenny Couch; his daughters, Lori (Bill) Merry, Georgia Giffen, Margaret (Jim) Taylor and Patty (Chad) Prom; sons, Doug (Helga) Stivers, Dallas (Peggie) Harrison, Jr., Ron (Sam) Harrison, Dwayne Harrison, and Paul Harrison; brothers, Robert Smith, Ronnie (Carol) Smith, and Donnie (Renee) Smith; sisters, Florence Sharp, Myrtle (Ralph) Willis, Dolly (Dan) Ginsburg, Barb (Bob) Lab and her twin, Pauline Monersatt; many grandchildren; one great grandchild; a special grandson, Little Kenny Harrison; dear friend , Lois Burton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Eugene, Harold, Darrell, Billy, Jimmy, Elbert and Delbert Smith.

Visitation will be 11am until time of service (12:30pm), Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on 330 Pershing Avenue with Rev. Keith Risner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
