Geraldine E. Keeler

Geraldine E. Keeler, age 82 of Hamilton passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 10:40 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 24, 1930 the daughter of Earl and Barbara (Raps) Gaines. Geraldine was employed as an underwriter examiner at Ohio Casualty Insurance for 40 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. On September 14, 1968 in Camden, she married Calvin Keeler, and he preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by two children, Anthony Keeler of Mississippi and Joy Lynn Keeler of Fairfield; a granddaughter, Callie Keeler; a sister, Shirley Hartleb of Hamilton; and her former daughter-in-law, Stephanie Keeler of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday September 28, 2012 at 1:30PM with Father Jeff Silver of St. Mary’s Catholic Church celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 until time of service at 1:30. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Woodlands and to Vitas Hospice for their care and support.
