Geraldine Roark

Geraldine Roark is so unique she passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 on her 72nd birthday. Geraldine was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 9, 1953 to William Franklin Robertson and Floretta (Stepp) Robertson. She retired from the City of Hamilton in March 2001. Geraldine was a super creative person. She loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, & scrapbooking. She enjoyed putting together scavenger hunts and puppet shows for her family, especially her grandchildren. She collected birdhouses and would often be bird watching. Geraldine was a huge Survivor TV show fan and turned it into a family game by creating “The Survivor Bowl”. She liked watching true crime shows, 600 lb Life and Hoarders. In the last few years, she became a Cincinnati Reds fan. She was truly one of a kind daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Kelly Roark and Laura Roark; grandchildren, Andrew (Amber), Sarah, Amber, Zachary, Alexis, Annah and RaShaun; great-grandchildren, Ambition, Chet, Avalynn, Zamara, Zamoni, Zarianna & Paisley; sisters, Barbara (Cecil), Ellen (Gary) and Doreen (Phil); brothers, Jim (Sharon), Eddie (Letta), Herbert (Julie) and Bruce (Kathy); brothers-in-law, Butch and Ed; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Tina; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Floretta Robertson; sisters, Linda and Melissa; and her brother, Ricky.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Houston Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Reception following Burial services at Baptist Chapel Reception Hall 2019 Wayne Madison Rd. Trenton, OH 45067 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. The family asks those attending the visitation and funeral service to please wear blue in honor of Geraldine.
