Geraldine "Gerri" Bales

Geraldine “Gerri” Bales, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Geraldine was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 12, 1934 to the late Bradley and Cora (Downing) Muddiman. Known to many as Gerri, she enjoyed playing cards with her family, solving puzzles, and playing Bingo. She enjoyed hosting Christmas parties and cooking for her family, especially for her precious canine companion, Pepper. Above all, Geraldine loved spending time with her family.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Donnie (Darlene) Plummer and Richard (Kathy) Plummer; her step-daughter, Diane (Bill) Hooper; her grandchildren, Dawn Dunn, Christopher Plummer, Joshua (Katlyn) Plummer, Zachary Plummer, and Erin Plummer; her great-grandchildren, Lyla, Maxwell, Annaleayah, Isabella, Penelope, Daniel, and Trevor; as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husbands, James Bales and the father of her children, Donald E. Plummer; her brothers, Edward Muddiman and Raymond Muddiman; her sisters, Rose Ray and Marlene Goodin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11:30 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio with Deacon Rick Muddiman officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
